A unique and uncommon souvenir here. This patriotic plaque was produced in the 1970's in the Experimental Plant "Souvenir" located in Volgograd. It depicts the famous Soviet statue "The Motherland Calls" with the image of the Hero Of The Soviet Union in the upper right corner. At the bottom of the plaque is the city name, Volgograd. On the reverse is a label from the factory as well as a hole for hainging. In good condition but has some dents and dings in it like almost all of these plaques do. Measures at 16"x7".
