A very fine example of the cap badge commemorating the 4th Army campaign of 1914-15. Beneath the inscription is a portrait of Kaiser Franz Joseph I, and the motto fo the Kaiser: "VIRIBUS UNITIS" which translates to "With United Forces." This badge is maker marked to the reverse and features a working pin and catch. Note that this is the silver version of this badge rather than the more common tobak variant.
