A fairly uncommon thing here. This is the 1957 version of the WWII German DRL badge, lacking the disctint swastika from the original design to comply with 1957 regulations for wear. This badge has a very heavy construction, with pin and catch hardware on the reverse that would usually be found on a higher end award.
