An original WWII German Kriegsmarine (navy) overseas cap here. Marked W 58 on the liner to indicate size. Insignia on this cap has been carefully applied by hand, either by the original owner or as a post-war reapply. Unfortunately there isn't any way to tell. Thread from the attachment of the cockade is visible from the inside of the cap, which is displayed in photos. This is not true of the eagle. Insignia is original, as is the cap. Priced to reflect this historical mystery.
